  10. Flx is a .FLI and .FLC animation viewer.
  11. Flx shows the animations inside a Workbench's window or in its own 256 colours
  12. screen.
  13. Flx has been completely written in 68020+ assembler !!!

  15. These are the characteristics of FLX :

  17. - it shows the animation on a Workbench's window
  18. - it shows the animation on a 256 colours screen
  19. - possibility to use the original animation palette (256 colours Wb)
  20. - possibility to use the original Workbench palette with any number of colours
  21. - changing of animation colours basing on Workbench colours
  22. - reduction of the number of colours used by animation, in order to show it in
  23.   WB (for example : from 256 to 16)
  24. - reshaping of the animation in real time to adapt it to the window's dimension
  25. - it shows the number of the frame and the total number of frames in the
  26.   window's title
  27. - possibility to show simultaneously more animations, executing FLX many times
  28.   (memory limited)

  33. Through the menus it is possible :
  34. - OPEN SCREEN    : to open a 256 colours screen for the animation
  35. - PALETTE ANIM   : to use the original animation palette (better with 256
  36.                    colours WB)
  37. - PALETTE WB     : to use the original Workbench palette (with re-mapping,
  38.                    scaling, and so on)
  39. - WINDOW'S SIZE  : resize the window from 10% to 200% of the original size
  40. - FRAME IN TITLE : it shows the number of the frame and the total number of
  41.                    frames in the window's title
  42. - LOAD ANIM      : to load a new animation (available from the 0.9 version)
  43. - ANIM INFO      : information about the animation loaded
  44. - ABOUT          : information about the programme 
  45. - QUIT           : exit from FLX
